The advantage of our program is that especially in grades 1-3 we focus on developing students’ understanding of the physical world. We place emphasis on physically trying things before learning the abstract concepts. During these grades we establish an important link between physical reality, laws of physics, and abstract ideas.
All this can be done in such simple steps as finding locations on a globe rather than a map, measuring the size of geometric shapes, drawing ancient Greek ornaments, and acting our imaginary stories.
